Allen Andersen developed his passion for Oil Painting in High School over 50 years ago. He received his Bachelor Degree in Education from Wisconsin State University in River Falls, Wisconsin and also has a Masters Degree from Colorado State College. During and since that time, he taught in Wisconsin School Systems for 20 years. While teaching and after retirement, Allen painted and sold hundreds of oil paintings, covering a vast array of subjects.
Allen and his wife Linda purchased their Florida winter home in 1994. During the 1990s and early 2000s, Allen took up Mural Painting and has over 40 Murals in private homes in Fort Myers, Estero, Bonita Springs, and Naples. Allen sells the majority of his Oil Paintings through Studio Sales and numerous commissions. He also hosts annual shows in Northern Wisconsin where his work is featured exclusively and produces a number of sales and commissions. He has recently returned to providing Art Education through Adult Education Classes in Wisconsin and now Florida.
